We are a lecturer on Telecommunications Engineering study program of Electronic Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya (PENS), that educates about the expertise in the field of Data Communications Network, Remote Access, Network Telephony such as VoIP and CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), and Optical Communications Systems. Graduates are also equipped with expertise in the field of Wireless Communication Networks that include mobile communication system and various applications.
This activity can be used to foster synergies as a means of improving its image as a leading educational institution in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), as well as one of the contributions of PENS for the advancement of society, as well as a means of promotion to attract prospective students who excel to enter the PENS.

At this stage of the unmanned vehicle design, we have started to use anti-radar materials. Radar absorbing materials (RAM) are made from resistive and magnetic materials. Many conductive and magnetic materials have been trialed for absorption including carbon, metals and conducting polymers. From the test results showed that the RAM with multilayer configurations is able to absorb an electromagnetic wave around 10dB, and it reflect completely over 30deg. We measure several type of RAMs, which are R157TL900, R157DL900, R157SL1000, R157SL900, include the 1mm thick of Aluminum plate as reference. From measurement results, absorption of R157TL900 has highest absorptions result compare with others, because we use 3 layer of absorber. For a single layer absorber comparison, a characteristic of R157SL1000 is better than R157SL900.

Community Services is the practice of science and technology, which is conducted by faculty/student is institutionalized through scientific methodology directly to the community outside the campus as a liability in efforts to develop the ability of people, so as to accelerate the achievement of national development goals, and to improve the welfare of the Nation. These activities will provide benefits for both parties, both from the community and the Electronic Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya (PENS), especially in the department of Telecommunication Engineering, because with this activity, especially the Lecturers, laboratory, and students who are involved can know the reality of the development of Telecommunications Technology needed in society at large.
This activity can be used to foster synergies as a means of improving its image as a leading educational institution in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), as well as one of the contributions of PENS for the advancement of society, as well as a means of promotion to attract prospective students who excel to enter the PENS.
